  • While quite entertaining, Stage Hypnosis is very different from therapeutic hypnosis. A person cannot be hypnotized against their will, nor can they be made to do anything they don’t want to do, or anything that goes against their morals. The important thing to remember for those who volunteer for stages shows, are VOLUNTEERS. They go up on stage knowing they will be given suggestions to do things like cluck like a chicken.

  • The great thing about hypnosis is that it does not have to be in person, you can enjoy sessions from the comfort of your own home, without having to wear a mask! Many hypnotists work exclusively online, and have been doing so for years. A lot of people find they have better results when being seen virtually because they get to relax in the comfort of their own home, they can stay in that relaxed state, rather than have to snap back to normal consciousness to be able to get themselves home! At the same time, some clients prefer to be in seen in person, because they like the ritual of coming in to the office and relaxing in the comfy chair.

  • Absolutely not. If left alone in a hypnotic state you will either fall asleep, or come back to normal consciousness shortly.

  • Most people can be hypnotized to some degree. The more you practice hypnosis, the more easily you can get into a hypnotic state, and the deeper you can go. With that being said, people with a history of psychosis should avoid hypnosis.

  • Many people THINK they’ve fallen asleep, because they don’t remember exactly what was said throughout the session. They feel like they are in and out. This is actually hypnosis! Your conscious mind is taking a backseat while your subconscious mind is soaking up the suggestions. Even if you do fall asleep, the messages are still getting through to your subconscious mind.

  • Dress comfortably, refrain from any caffeine directly before your session and be free of mind altering substances and alcohol.
